This is like having a cell phone tower on you house..the intention is to then have “smart” chips in your appliances that will be like cell phones to your “smart” meter. So, now dozens of cell phones and a cell phone tower will be blasting emissions into your houses 24 hours a day. The utility CEO idiots are saying that since we have cell phones, they then have a right to force more of them on us. There are other argument as well…they’ll say anything for big money. I guess the key here is long-term impact. A lot of people argue that the microwave frequencies from cell phones are much, much weaker than, say, a microwave oven. But it is the accumulated impact over time that is potentiall the problem. I rarely put my phone against my ear. I use the speakerphone, unless there are people around and I need to have a more private conversation.
